August 21 Third Saturday Breakfast

The August Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will meet Saturday, August 21st at a new location - Cheeseburger in Paradise, 1705 Village West Parkway, just down the street from our old location.

Our speaker will be state Senator Tom Holland, the Democratic candidate for governor and Secretary of State Chris Biggs.

A buffet is available at 8:15 am and the program begins at 9:00. Cost for the buffet is ten dollars, which includes tax, service and tip; seven dollars for students and those with limited income.

All Democrats are welcome to attend. Reservations are requested by Friday, August 20th, but not required. To RSVP Email Scott Mackey or call the county Democratic Party office at 913-287-2300.

Third Congressional District candidate Stephene Moore will speak at the September breakfast along with Lisa Johnston US Senate candidate.

Attorney General Steve Six will be our guest in October.

Seventy-five Democrats attended our July Breakfast to hear the Democratic candidates for state representative District 36 and the open judgeship.Two former mayors were in attendance: Carol Marinovich of KCK and Charles Wheeler of KC, Mo.
