Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast

The February Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will meet Saturday, February 18th at Painted Hills Golf Course, 7101 Parallel Parkway.

Our speakers this month will be: State Senator Kelly Kultala and State Representative Louis Ruiz.

A breakfast buffet is available at 8:15 am and the program begins at 9:00. Cost for the buffet is ten dollars, which includes tax, service and tip; five dollars for students and those with limited income.

We had 80 Democrats at the January Breakfast to listen to State Representative Valdenia Winn, Wyandotte County legislative chair, and Kansas Democratic Party Executive Director Jason Perkey.
State Representative Tom Burroughs is scheduled to speak at the March Breakfast.

New breakfast memberships for election year 2012 are still available. Your donation of $100 to the breakfast gets you a monthly breakfast reservation, a personalized name tag and other benefits. If you are unable to attend one of the breakfasts, you may designate someone to attend in your place. Talk to Matt Watkins at the Breakfast registration table for more information.

Washington Days, the annual dinner and celebration of Kansas Democrats in Topeka, will be Friday-Saturday, February 24-25, at the Topeka Ramada Inn, 420 SE 6th Avenue.

Make plans now to come out and show your support for President Barack Obama at the the Democratic Party caucuses on Saturday, April 14th from 12 noon to 4 pm. You must be there by noon to be eligible to participate. We will have meeting places confirmed soon, so that we can announce them at this Saturday's Breakfast.
