Steele Crazy After All These Years
It's not just Newt Gingrich and the republican Media Circus Clowns- Limbaugh, Beck and Hannity- who call the BP $20 billion trust fund a "shakedown." Congressman Joe Barton, ranking member of the Energy and Commerce Committee, literally apologized to BP CEO Tony Hayward in a congressional hearing. And the republican Study Caucus, consisting of two-thirds of the entire republican House membership, agreed with the "shakedown" characterization.
Just who do the republicans want to pay for the cataclysmic damages caused by British Petroleum? Do we need any more proof of how the republican party would help govern in today's Great Recession?
We need to do everything we can to elect Democrats this November 2nd!
