The September Wyandotte County Third Saturday Democratic Breakfast will feature a panel on labor unions: Donna Birks, Tri-County AFL-CIO President and UAW 31 Treasurer; Sharon Al-Uqdah, Greater KC American Postal Workers Union local 67 president; and Judy Ancel, director of the UMKC Institute for Labor Studies.
A breakfast buffet is available at 8:15 am and the program begins at 9:00. Cost for the buffet is ten dollars, which includes tax, service and tip; five dollars for students and those with limited income.
All Democrats are welcome to attend. Reservations are requested by Friday, September 16th, but not required. To RSVP Email Scott Mackey or call the county Democratic Party office at 913-287-2300.

The October Breakfast will present a panel on crime in Wyandotte County, featuring District Attorney Jerome Gorman.
Forty-six Democrats attended the August Breakfast for a wide-ranging discussion of current issues.

- Wyandotte County Head Start music benefit at Knuckleheads, 2715 Rochester, Kansas City, Missouri, from 7:30 to 10:30 pm. Kelley Hunt and Trampled Under Foot are the featured performers. Requested donation is $15. There will be a silent auction and a drawing.
